Medication-assisted treatment also known as Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) combines FDA-approved medications like methadone or Buprenorphine (suboxone, brixadi and sublocade) with counseling and supportive care. MAT is an evidence-based approach proven to reduce overdose risk, ease cravings, and improve long-term recovery outcomes.

Yes. Amazing Grace Center offers methadone treatment as part of our medication-assisted treatment program for opioid use disorder. Methadone can help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms while supporting long-term recovery and is available for up to 28 days at a time.

Yes. We offer buprenorphine treatment for individuals with opioid use disorder including Suboxone and injectable options like Brixadi and Sublocade. Our providers work with you to determine whether Buprenorphine is the right option based on your needs, history, and goals.

We provide individual addiction counseling and psychotherapy, group therapy, intensive outpatient program (IOP). Our specialized modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed therapy.

You can still receive care at Amazing Grace Center. If you don’t have insurance, our team will work with you to explore affordable treatment options and available resources. We can discuss self-pay rates, help you apply for Medicaid if you qualify, and guide you toward community programs that may help cover the cost of care.

Our Addiction Treatment center is located in Portsmouth, Ohio within Scioto County, and we serve clients throughout the surrounding counties.
Our mental health services is available via telehealth from the comfort of your home and also available for eligible patients living nearby in Kentucky, and West Virginia.

Yes. Amazing Grace Center offers telehealth appointments for eligible psychiatric and mental health services when appropriate. Telehealth allows you to meet with our providers from home for follow-up visits, medication management, and mental health care such as treatment for anxiety and depression.
Some services, including certain addiction treatments like methadone dosing, must be provided in person due to federal regulations. Our team will help determine which services can be provided via telehealth and which require an in-person visit, so you receive safe and compliant care.
