Get Started With Your Opioid Addiction Treatment

If you are ready to start your recovery from opioid addiction, give us a call or send us a message. Our team will start by asking you a few simple questions to learn more about your needs and see how we can help you.

You are welcome to walk into our office any time we’re open for a first appointment. You can meet with our staff, and tour the facility. If you want to begin treatment with us, we recommend having a flexible schedule since we will need two to three hours for your first appointment.

Our Eligibility Requirements

If you want to start our program, you require that you:

  • Be 18 years of age or older

  • Present photo identification if available

  • Have a history of opioid dependence based on our initial assessment

  • Agree to follow our policies and procedures

Our Admission Process

During your first appointment with us, we will:

  • Review your medical and drug history

  • Ask you to complete a drug screen

  • Have you meet with our intake counselor

  • Complete a physical exam with our medical provider

  • Review our policies and procedures

What You Can Expect From Treatment

When you arrive for your appointment, you will meet with one of our medical team members to start the admission process. During your appointment, your provider and counselor will work with you to create your treatment plan, and you will receive your initial dose of medication.

Once you are admitted to our program, you will receive:

  • Education about opioid use disorder and addiction, medication-assisted treatment and individual and group substance use counseling

  • Information about HIV/AIDS and other medical conditions commonly associated with opioid use

  • Random drug screenings, breathalyzers and other required testing to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Medical evaluation and supervision with referrals to additional medical treatment and physician collaboration as needed

  • Referral for mental health treatment if needed to help sustain your recovery

Your Options for Payment

We want to make treatment as affordable for you as possible, which is why we offer several payment options.

We accept All Medicare, All Medicaid, commercial insurance and veteran insurance, we’re here to help verifying your insurance coverage and our staff can assist in ensuring treatment is affordable. Our treatment center accepts cash, credit cards, debit cards and money orders if you plan to pay for treatment yourself. Please note that we do not accept personal checks.

Our Guest Medication Services

If you are traveling and would like to receive your medication from our treatment center, we can provide guest dosing services so you can continue your treatment safely. You do not need to be our patient to use guest medication, and we offer this service at our location in Portsmouth, Ohio.

To request guest medication services, talk to your current counselor at least 48 hours in advance so your home treatment center can coordinate your treatment with our team. Please contact us to ask about payments for guest medication services.
